I HAVE USED A NUMBER OF PRODUCTS IN MY PREVIOUS VEHICLES ON BOTH VINYL AND LEATHER – MOST LEAVE A STICKY RESIDUE AND CAN BE SLIPPERY AND SHINY – WHY IS THIS?

Many off-the-shelf products contain significant amounts of silicone, which can cause the surface to become slippery and contribute to what is referred to as ‘vinyl sweating’.  This causes the sticky residue and leaves the surface shiny.  When the surface becomes shiny, it can contribute to reflection and glare, particularly around the dash and console areas.
